Information on Advanced EFIS-EJI course ”Novel vaccination strategies against the three major killers”

The course will review aspects of the immunology of Malaria, Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS which are important for vaccine development and discuss how host protective immunity can be translated into design and development of novel vaccines. Basic platform for vaccine development will also be presented and related to the need of vaccinating individuals co-infected with Tuberculosis and HIV in developing countries. Information will be provided on the scientific platforms for the vaccines under clinical trial for HIV, TB and malaria.
