The workshop focused on developing research questions and objectives, study designs and sample size calculations,how to find funding and complying with call requirements among other topics. The workshop attended by participants from Copen Hagen University in Denmark and KCMC-KCMU College in Moshi.

 The symposium  organized by KCRI and held for the first time.The main objective of the symposium was to give an opportunity to PhD trainees to present their proposals and senior scientists/supervisors to give their inputs.
