The Kilimanjaro Clinical Research Institute (KCRI) is a partner institution in the Network for Oncology Research in Sub-Sahara Africa (NORA) project under Research Networks for Health Innovations in Sub-Saharan Africa (RHISSA). NORA project is committed to establish evidence-based breast cancer (BC) and cervical cancer (CC) screening and treatment pathways applicable in SSA including Tanzania. The aim of this project is to contribute to a significant reduction in BC and CC mortality in Africa by providing academics and young scientists with comprehensive methodological and management competencies and enables them to take on long-term applied research within the framework of national strategies.
Project Team include researchers from; Addis Ababa University (AAU), Wits Health Consortium (Pty) Ltd (Wits), Kilimanjaro Christian Clinical Research Institute (KCRI), Institute of Human Virology (IHV), African Cancer Registry Network (AFCRN) c/o AAU, Martin-Luther-University (MLU) and Charité Universitätsmedizin (Charité)
It is with this regards KCRI is pleased to announce 3 PhD opportunities along with a maximum of four-year scholarship for the successful applicants.
