REDMAL is built around a core group of 4 internationally well-known Research Institutions from 3 European and one African country and SME from Asia.

The consortium includes two leading European partners in malaria transmission research, a European group with a track record of malaria vaccine development, an African partner with a strong record in malaria epidemiology and commitment for clinical trials.

Each institution is performing competitive research and applies stringent criteria to their research laboratories.

The institutions forming REDMAL projects are: Statens Serum Institute, Copenhagen-Denmark, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, London -UK, Gennova Biopharmaceuticals Limited, Pune-India, Kilimanjaro Clinical Research Institute, KCMC-Moshi and African Malaria Network Trust, Dar-es-Salaam-Tanzania.
